Jones Fork Hydroelectric Power Plant: This project for the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) required Roebbelen to tunnel a mile and a half underneath a mountain, then pop up in the middle of it, to install 8800 feet of 96 inch pipe. This five-story power plant was created mostly under the lake at the Union Valley site. Roebbelen brought a concrete batch plant on site and worked double shifts while the lake was down to complete the job.

Trident Missile Test Facility: Located in China Lake in the desert just east of Bakersfield, this project required the company to inset a heavy movable metal structure into the rugged mountain terrain. The facility also needed to have a structured steel system, a concrete face that could withstand 1,000 degrees of heat and be embedded directly into the mountain top with anchors 30-40 feet deep.
