Roebbelen Contracting, Inc. Projects Receive Four Awards

WCCC – Western Council of Construction Consumers Owners’ Project Excellence Awards – Northern CA


Roebbelen Contracting, Inc. continues its winning streak with three winning project submissions to this year’s Western Council of Construction Consumers Owners’ Project Excellence Awards. The three projects received a total of four awards. Winning projects were selected by an independent jury of prominent industry professionals. Winners will be honored at the Awards Luncheon on Friday, October 18th at the Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa.  This is the tenth year Roebbelen has received awards for their projects from WCCC.


Leroy F. Greene Academy, Sacramento, CA is a project of Natomas Unified School District. The Academy is the result of a complete renovation of Leroy F. Greene Middle School—a 65,787 SF, grades 7-12 campus. It was designed by Stafford King Weise Architects and built by Roebbelen Contracting, Inc., turning what was once an eye-sore in the community into an award winning project. Leroy F. Greene Academy received a “Distinguished Project – Buildings – Renovation” award as well as an “Innovative Project Solutions” award.

Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA) Bus Fuel and Wash Facility, Livermore, CA is an 11,500 SF new building project consisting of two buildings on a nine acre site. The purpose of this facility is to provide a central wash and fuel station for LAVTA’s bus fleet which serves the cities of Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton and the unincorporated areas of Alameda County. This project was the recipient of an “Outstanding – Buildings – New” award. Designers on the project included Jacobs Engineering (bridging documents) and ANOVA Nexus Architects (working documents and final design).

Reno VOA Elderly Housing, Reno, NV is a new four-story senior housing facility (Aging in Place Design) containing 40 living units and common areas totaling 35,522 SF. This “Significant – Buildings – New” award winner features Aging-in-place features which will allow the senior citizens living there to remain independent longer. It was designed by Schuldt, Goza & Babineaux Architects from Shreveport, LA.
