The detailed scope of work consisted of an addition of approximately 4,500 SF of lobby and promenade space on the western side of the building; interior demolition and reconstruction of the theater auditorium; deconstruction and expanded reconstruction of the state area; renovation of the backstage support spaces on two levels; the addition of a new air condition system; re-roofing of ht entire complex; site improvements including development of an outdoor plaza area, new surface parking, ADA access, and landscaping; site landscaping and trees, site irrigation, site concrete and asphalt paving, concrete foundations and retaining walls; new structural steel framing and braced frames, structural steel lighting catwalk in auditorium, structural steel grid-iron above the stage, wood shear walls, wood and metal stud framing, structural-sealant-glazed curtain wall, exterior stucco, composite shingle roofing, new doors and windows, rehabilitation of existing doors and windows, two new elevators, theatrical stage/pit lift, theatrical rigging and draperies, theatrical lighting controls, theatrical sound system and acoustical enhancement system formed perforated metal covers, improvements to the existing fire sprinkler system, in addition to plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work.
