Alcosta Senior & Community Center

The Alcosta Senior and Community Center is one of San Ramon’s oldest facilities and very popular with the City residents, however it had not been renovated since originally constructed. The facility was “dated” and no longer met the current needs of the community. The City of San Ramon felt that a complete modernization of the facility to better match the current use of the facility while making it more attractive for leasing opportunities.

Roebbelen Contracting was hired to provide construction management services for the 8,000 SF renovation of the building’s north wing. The Roebbelen team provided the City with initial concept design options, budgetary and final project cost estimating, project scheduling and managed the final design, permitting and construction. The scope of work included redesign of the popular Vista Grande Multi-Purpose Room, replacement of all interior finishes, refurbishment and installation of new cabinetry, and installation of new lighting throughout the building. This $1,000,000 project was completed in two months.
