Trans Bay Cable Project

Roebbelen constructed two high voltage direct current (HVDC) electrical converter stations to transmit electrical power from a converter station in Pittsburg to a converter station in San Francisco. Work included the erection of a pre-engineered Administration Building, spare parts enclosure, and converter building at each site. Roebbelen also furnished all the reinforced concrete foundation and floor slabs for all the buildings. Associated site work and utilities was also included in the scope of work. Roebbelen self-performed the site concrete, structural concrete, SWPPP, supervision and clean-up.
