SMUD Headquarters Rehabilitation

The SMUD Headquarters Renovation entailed a complete revitalization to the existing historic SMUD building. Roebbelen upgraded and restored all internal spaces, upgraded structural elements for ADA access and compliance, and cleaned and repaired while preserving historical features of the building.

Major upgrades were made to the heating and cooling systems and seismic enhancements to bring the building to modern standards. The new design provides additional collaborative work and meeting spaces for employees.

Originally opened in 1960, the Sacramento icon is beautifully upgraded to honor the buildings rich past showcasing a modern and vibrant look to serve SMUD, its employees and customers.
